Hi, I am a master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Columbia International University, currently undergoing structured practicum training and providing counseling services under professional supervision. Along the way, I’ve come to see that walking with others through their inner world is not only a matter of skill—it is a path that calls for authenticity, compassion, and presence from the heart.

I particularly focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, and as well as relational concerns such as intimacy, marital and family tensions, and parent-child conflict or communication struggles. These challenges often bring us face-to-face with core emotions—like loneliness, helplessness, shame, or the fear of abandonment.  I believe that every emotion carries significance and longing, and that therapy offers a safe space to gently explore, make sense of, and reconnect with ourselves, with others, and with the deeper meaning of life.

I also give thoughtful attention to how culture, faith, and identity shape one’s inner experience. My Christian faith has profoundly shaped my understanding of human dignity, suffering, and healing. While I do not impose spiritual content, I am open to engaging in conversations about faith with clients who are receptive. I welcome individuals from all faith backgrounds—or none—and strive to provide a place of respect, acceptance, and emotional safety.

Warmth, steadiness, and authenticity are qualities I value deeply in therapy. I aim to create safety through attentive listening and genuine presence, offering attuned support when it feels needed. Whether you need room to speak or space to simply be, we’ll find a rhythm that fits you.

In my work, I draw from a range of approaches including person-centered understanding, interpersonal and emotional insight, psychodynamic reflection, cognitive-behavioral tools, solution-focused strategies, mindfulness practices, and faith-integrated, culturally sensitive care. I believe healing happens through relationship, that emotions are important signals worth attending to, and that each person is worthy of being met with compassion on their path toward greater wholeness.

To me, therapy is not only about solving problems—it is a journey of rediscovery: of our feelings, our needs, our relationships, and a deeper connection to purpose and meaning in life. Whatever you’re facing, I hope to walk alongside you as you move toward peace, growth, and hope.
